This Weekend: Family Shabbat, Joint Minyan, Concert

This Friday is Family Shabbat Night, beginning with Munchkin Minyan for children 0-5+ at 6:00, followed by a potluck dinner at 6:30 and short family service at 7:00. Located at FCC.

Saturday morning, November 21, at 10:00am is the monthly joint service with Chadeish Yameinu and the Temple Beth El Minyan, held at Temple Beth El. This service will be co-led by Rabbi Eli Cohen and Rabbi Paula Marcus.

Saturday night is a CY-sponsored concert: CULTURE COLLUSION: Classical Music for the New Era by Nigerian Composers. Tickets are $15/$12 seniors and students — proceeds benefit CY. 7:30 at FCC.

“Rise Up Singing: Songs of Ascent”

Reminder: 3-part adult ed class on the Songs of Ascent (Shir Hama’alot, Psalms 120-134) begins this Tuesday, November 18, 7:00PM at the Aptos Firestation.  For more information about this class series, see here.  This series will continue on December 2 and 9 (Wednesdays).

The Chadeish Yameinu website has been redesigned.  The object of this redesign is to facilitate easier navigation and enable our website to grow with CY.
